| Ferdowsi is as
Contemporary as Shakespeare (interview with Pari Saberi). Pari Saberi's activities can be
divided into two periods: before the Revolution, during which she staged a multitude of
successful performances of contemporary European dramas; and after the Revolution, during
which she has been working on Persian classical texts. Her latest play, Rostam and Sohrab,
is inspired from Ferdowsi's Shahnameh. In this interview, Saberi speaks about her
